Customer challenges

COBI's digital development faced constraints related to its aging Cobi.pl e-commerce platform. Key challenges included:

  • The need for a modern, secure, and user-friendly e-commerce platform.
  • Developing a B2B and e-commerce store for foreign customers, taking into account the specifics of cross-border trade.
  • Ensuring greater accessibility and better presentation of product offerings for international customers.

Tasks and objectives

As part of the project for COBI, our tasks focused on developing an advanced e-commerce platform Cobi.eu, taking into account, among other things:

  • Product sales: The ability to sell the “Blocks” category on both domestic and international markets, with three language versions (PL, EN, DE) for easy access by foreign users.

  • ERP integration: Provide synchronization of product inventory and prices, as well as order shipment to the ERP system, from which invoice and order processing information is received.

  • Integration with the Polish Post Office and UPS: Generate waybills and automatic calculation of delivery costs, including support for customs documents for countries outside the European Union.

  • Manuals and catalogs: Easy access to installation instructions and product catalogs in digital form.

  • Ecard payment gateway integration: Secure financial transactions using a well-known and proven payment gateway.

  • Pre-sales: Introducing products available for pre-order, with special marking of such orders.

  • Notifications: The platform allows users to sign up for notifications when products become available again.

  • "Hot Shot" promotions: Adding time-limited promotions to the homepage, increasing interest in the offer.

  • Comments: Possibility to express opinions about products, with moderation according to the regulations.
