Integration with ERP

The company has eight branch offices in Poland, and has earned a trustworthy reputation as a reliable supplier of products from prestigious companies in the furniture industry.

Furthermore, Intar provides advanced processing services for furniture materials, making it a comprehensive partner for businesses operating in this field.

Tasks and objectives

Integrating with Intar's ERP was necessary for several key reasons. The Client serves a number of B2B customers with a variety of price agreements. Integration with ERP allows prices to be updated on an ongoing basis, which is critical to ensuring a fair and competitive pricing policy for each customer.

The ERP system also enables more accurate and automated inventory management, helping to avoid overstocking or missing deliveries. This results in faster order fulfilment and improved customer service.

The entire integration process included, among others:

  • Two-way integration with ERP: Data synchronization between the ERP system and the Intar e-commerce platform, including product inventory and prices.
  • Unified pricing for B2C and B2B: Our Client serves two major groups: consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B). Product prices must be adjusted to meet the needs of both groups, while maintaining individual prices for each contractor in the case of B2B platforms.
  • Price update for B2B contractors: Business clients get access to individual prices after the first login on a given day. Therefore, the price list must be updated in real-time from the ERP system, allowing access to different prices for the same products.
  • Order synchronization: The B2B system must be able to send orders to the ERP system and receive order status to ensure the continuity of the B2B customer service process.
  • Accurate transportation cost estimation: Integration with ERP also provides access to crucial customer data, such as addresses. This allows the cost of transportation to be determined based on the distance.

Intar's integration with ERP is a success story that has helped improve operational efficiency, competitiveness, and customer service. As a result of this integration, the company has maintained its position as a leader in the furniture market with high-quality products and services.
