for DPD that is used by 4 000 employees daily

DPD Poland is one of many leaders in the delivery market. It’s a part of DPDgroup which belongs to GeoPost holding. In 2019, the company delivered 157 million parcels. This enterprise’s focus is Sustainable Development and first-class customer service. They aim to provide comfort and safety for clients and their parcels.

Tasks and objectives

We designed a bespoke intranet platform for DPD Poland. Intranet itself is a comprehensive source of know-how and information to company employees. It’s also a massive support to the company’s internal communication.

4000 employees use the new intranet platform daily.

Document Base is a vital module for all employees. They can find the entire company’s documentation in one place. To ease the search for information we divided the files into several categories. The platform has an in-text search engine. This allows you to search for content efficiently. This reduces the time needed to reach the required information.

The Employee Database has a crucial role in the system, as it contains all employees’ details. Daily, it updates itself via the .xls files import.

The organizational structure is of great importance in every company. We worked to also reflect it in the Intranet. Whenever there is even a slight change, the system updates its structure. Role and permission systems allow for content personalization. For example per a workplace, job position, or work department. This way, employees receive content notifications that are essential to them.

Thanks to the News and Announcements modules, users are always up to date with the information. It is also possible to categorize them according to one’s preferences. Modules like Forms and Surveys help in creating queries, polls, etc. much faster. You can also share them with a selected user group.

The Intranet includes also the Links Database section. It eases access to other systems used at the company. On the intranet home page, employees can also set their own links.

Finally, the intranet has its own Stats system. For example, it is possible to track the number of visits for each intranet page and its duration.
