Tasks and objectives
This is yet another example of cooperation between Ideo and MPK Kraków.
As part of this one, we have developed a mobile application dedicated to public transport passengers who use season tickets. The application is written in Java Script, uses the React Native library, and supports two operating systems - Android and iOS.

The purchase of tickets is done through the online payment method of the Tpay operator. This guarantees fast and secure transactions. We have implemented a security mechanism that requires users to assign purchased tickets to a specific device (or a maximum of 2 devices).

The purchase of tickets is done through the online payment method of the Tpay operator. This guarantees fast and secure transactions. We have implemented a security mechanism that requires users to assign purchased tickets to a specific device (or a maximum of 2 devices).
If a passenger fails to do this, it will not be possible to present the ticket in the event of a ticket inspection. The tickets are verified with an AZTEC code, which is generated for 2 minutes in the app. If the user fails to present the ticket in time, he/she will have to generate a new AZTEC code. The ticket control view now automatically sets maximum screen brightness to make it easier for inspectors to scan the code.
Exiting this view returns the brightness to its previous setting. The application is integrated with Kraków Card. This is another system managed by MPK Kraków, which the Kraków City Hall owns.
