Challenges and goals

For the client, we prepared and implemented a system and a mobile application that was to effectively support the work of Renters employees, enabling management of various aspects of the business from anywhere.

The client needed a solution that would integrate all key processes, from managing the work of cleaners and drivers to maintenance tasks, enabling effective coordination and tracking of work progress.

The Renters mobile system and application is an extensive tool for coordinating work that integrates with the existing reservation system.

When a new reservation is made, the system automatically creates cleaning tasks for the guest's check-out time, assigning appropriate tasks with a detailed list of activities to be performed in a given apartment.

As part of the system, Renters employees have full insight into the number of tasks created on a given day and their status. They can track who is responsible for a given task, whether it is already being implemented or waiting to be assigned to an employee.

The purpose of the mobile version of the system is to facilitate work in the field. The mobile application will also be available to drivers who deal with transport and coordinate work.

 

Drivers can follow routes via the integrated Google Maps application, which are generated based on the places where tasks are planned. While performing tasks, employees can use simple and intuitive checklists to facilitate documentation of the activities performed.

Additionally, in the event of problems encountered, e.g. damage or dirty elements, employees can immediately report the fault via the mobile application, adding a note and attaching photos, which allows the coordinator to respond quickly and plan corrective actions.

The application for Renters is equipped with an extensive notification system which, depending on the user's permissions, informs about important events, ensuring smooth communication and tracking the progress of work. The mobile application for Android and iOS does not require Internet access, so employees can perform tasks offline.

The introduced chat enables direct communication between employees and coordinators in the context of specific tasks, which speeds up decision-making processes and eliminates unnecessary delays.

In addition, the function of translating task descriptions, checklists and notes into different languages ​​facilitates the work of teams consisting of employees from different countries - this is another element that has a positive impact on effective communication and understanding of tasks.
