Medicover, for over 20 years, provides healthcare services in the private sector. Arrangement of a complex hospital and ambulatory care for patients is the company’s priority. Additionally, potential clients or patients have at their disposal the most advanced laboratory facilities.

Currently, Medicover is the owner of 41 branches collaborating with 1250 subsidiaries. To provide an efficient service and to create an easily accessible way for patients to medical services, Ideo has been entrusted to revive the Medicover website and to develop further the news portal.

The very main goal was the idea of facilitating the communication between patients and doctors or finding a certain medical centre or, for instance, the closest one. Portal is supported by a number of ‘mini’ applications that combined together arise to a reliable database / knowledge base concerning health in general. All of the information on the web is presented in an interesting and engaging manner and at the same time presenting a wide scope of services Medicover company has to offer.

The ‘revived’ news portal will be able to assist 500 thousand patients per year. Portal was designed with the assistance of Ideo’s very own platform Edito (content editing in .NET technology).

New portal can hold nearly 1,8 page views per month.

Our cooperation with Medicover is not limited to the one in Poland as we have already implemented a news portal for Medicover in Romania (37 clinics), for 200 their affiliates and Infertility Clinic in India. All introduced portals have been supplemented by new functionalities that fully respond to the demands and nature of these companies.
