Webinar Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of webinars organized by Ideo Sp. z o.o., ul. Nad Przyrwą 13, 35-234 Rzeszów, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".

§ 1 Definitions

Webinars - services provided by the Organizer in the form of trainings, courses, seminars, workshops, conferences and other forms of knowledge and skills transfer and education. Website - Website which can be found at: www.ideosoftware.com. Participant – refers to a natural person, legal entity or legal entity with limited legal capacity that uses the website and/or has purchased a webinar.

Consumer - every natural person who engages in a legal transaction for reasons other than their professional or business activities. Registration – filling out the form to express interest in attending the webinar.

§2 General provisions

These regulations outline the guidelines for participating in the webinar hosted by the Organizer and attended by the Participants. Each registrant is required to familiarize themselves with the information provided. The organizer ensures the website hosting the webinar operates smoothly through necessary efforts. The participant must have appropriate equipment, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone with an online audio and video receiver.

During this time, other applications cannot access the headphones, speakers, camera, or microphone. If specified in the training description, a device with the capability of transmitting both audio and visual information is necessary. The participant should have access to the Internet, an email account, and a properly configured web browser.

The Participant is obliged to use the website in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and social and moral norms. The Organizer reserves the right to:

  • Cancel a webinar without giving a reason.
  • Reschedule the webinar.
  • Change the webinar start and end times.

§ 3 Recording the Webinar

By signing this agreement, the Participant agrees to display the first and last name provided when entering the webinar room. The Participant agrees to allow the Organizer to use these materials to promote the Webinar in any manner the Organizer chooses, free of charge. Participants are prohibited from recording or distributing any portion of the webinar, in whole or in part, by any audiovisual means.

§ 4 Confidentiality

The Participant understands and agrees that all content and materials shared during the webinar are protected by copyright law and are the intellectual property of the Organizer. This content is for Participants' internal use only and is not intended to be presented to the outside world. Therefore, the participant agrees not to use the content and materials provided for any purpose other than those directly related to the training area.

The participant agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all webinar content and materials. Specifically, not to reproduce, share, or distribute them to any third party in any manner.

§ 5 Protection of Personal Data

The Participant confirms the accuracy of the information provided in the registration form and consents to the management of their personal data and its transmission to third parties for the sole purpose of facilitating the proper delivery of services as outlined in these regulations, and for marketing purposes as necessary.

The Organizer is the personal data controller who processes participant data in accordance with the provisions of the August 29, 1997 Act on the Protection of Personal Data (consolidated text of Journal of Laws of 2016, item 922, as amended) and the July 18, 2002 Act on the Provision of Electronic Services (consolidated text of Journal Laws of 2016, item 922, as amended) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (which apply directly in national legal orders from May 25, 2018).

The Organizer collects only personal information necessary to conduct the webinar. The Participants' database containing personal data is legally protected. This information is secured and safeguarded against unauthorized access. Without a legal basis obliging the Organizer to do so, the Organizer will not disclose information and data about the Participants to third parties in any way other than what is necessary to fulfill its purpose and within the scope of the agreed consent and declarations.

The Organizer guarantees that Participants can exercise their rights under § 5 section 2 of Regulation. Specifically, Participants have the right to review their personal data and request changes, corrections, or deletions. To exercise these rights, Participants must submit a proper request to the Organizer via email.

§ 6 Final Provisions

The content shared in the webinar is purely educational. The organizer is not responsible for any damage caused to participants or third parties in connection with or as a result of participants using the knowledge, skills or information acquired during the webinar in a manner inconsistent with its intended purpose. The Organizer is not responsible for any damage that may result from the use of the services, unless the damage is the result of the organizer's fault.

In matters that are not addressed in the Terms and Conditions, the relevant provisions of the law shall apply. Any disputes arising from the performance of the agreement under these terms and conditions shall be resolved by the court with jurisdiction over the Organizer's registered office (this provision excludes consumers).

The organizer retains the right to modify the terms and conditions at any point without providing justification. Amendments to the terms and conditions will take effect on the day they are published on the website. However, agreements made before the date of its implementation will not be subject to the amended regulations.
